Pellets of 2mm thick, 15mm diameter of sugar cane leaves were analysed using LIBS. LIBS had a number of advantages of the standard, wet chemical, analysis techniques. Significant improvements in performance resulted from increasing the intensity from 25 J/cm^2 to 50J/cm^2. Comparison of LIBS results with ICP OES showed good agreement |
