Uranium Oxide was doped with rare earth elements (Nd, Eu, Yb) to produce calibration curves, which were then used to analyse NIST SRM 610 and 612. Samples were analysed under adhesive tape (to prevent contamination of the equipment) and an Argon gas purge was used to improve the detection limits. Cleaning shots were employed to burn through the tape prior to sample analysis. |

Yb | 130.0000 (Calibration Curve Slope) | 328.9400 | N/A | Univariate | -10.0000--10.0000 | N/A |
Nd | 320.0000 (Calibration Curve Slope) | 415.6100 | N/A | Univariate | -10.0000--10.0000 | Based on spiked Uranium Oxide powders |
Eu | 200.0000 (Calibration Curve Slope) | 420.5100 | 443.56nm | Univariate | -10.0000--10.0000 | %RSD ranged from 8-28%, with lower %RSD for the 420.52nm lines used in the calibration. |
