The authors compare the performance of Wavelength Dispersive XRF with LIBS for the analysis of elements in Molluscs. LIBS analysis used pellets made from freeze dried mollusc samples. Extensive work was undertaken to determine the best conditions for sample analysis with the Standard Error of Calibration being the optimised parameter. |
